Apart from this trio, the band's membership changed countless times over the course of almost four decades. Bassist Marshall Jones, saxophonist and flutist Clarence 'Satch' Satchell, and trumpeter Ralph 'Pee Wee' Middlebrook comprised the unchanging core of the group over the decades.
